Administrative tasks frequently consist of a number of subtasks. For example, when creating a virtual library you can create a nickname for the library, record the name of a customer assigned to the library, define drive and compression characteristics, and others; some are optional and some are required. The VTL interface is organized around the flow of tasks required for such major tasks as creating a virtual library. Such a flow of tasks is called a workflow.
