Workflows

Administrative tasks frequently consist of a number of subtasks. For example, when creating a virtual library you can create a nickname for the library, record the name of a customer assigned to the library, define drive and compression characteristics, and so on. Some subtasks are optional and some are required. The VTL interface is organized around the flow of subtasks required for such major tasks as creating a virtual library. Such a flow of subtasks is called a workflow.
