Setting E-Mail Configuration (email set)
	Chapter 7. Configuring E-Mail

SYNOPSIS

email set [smtp_addr] [from] [to] [cc] [enable=on|off]

ARGUMENTS

smtp_addr	SMTP server IP address
from	VTL administrator e-mail address
to	E-mail address to which NearStore VTL will send e-mail notifications
cc	E-mail address to which NearStore VTL will send a copy of the e-mail notifications
enable=on\|off	Flag to enable or disable e-mail notifications

Note

For initial configuration, all the parameters are required except cc.

RESULT

A successful email set command has the exit status 0 and sets the e-mail configuration with the user-specified values. If the parameter is enable=on, the email set command enables e-mail notifications and sets the e-mail enable state to True. If the parameter is enable=off, the email set command disables e-mail notifications and sets the e-mail enable state to False. If the arguments specified are invalid, email set returns a non-zero exit status and relevant error message.
