RESULT

A successful tapeoperator passwd command sets the tape operator password to the new password specified by the user. On failure, tapeoperator passwd returns a non-zero exit status and relevant error message.

EXAMPLE

The command tapeoperator passwd is interactive. It asks for old password, the new password, and the new password once more to avoid typing errors.
