Adding a New Customer (customer add)
	Chapter 21. Configuring Customer Information

SYNOPSIS

customer add customer_name login_id number [contact_name] [email] 
[day_phone] [night_phone] [mobile_phone] [pager]

ARGUMENTS

customer_name	Unique name to be assigned to the customer
login_id	User ID with which the customer will log in to the appliance
number	Unique tracking number of customer
contact_name	Contact name of the customer
email	E-mail address of the customer
day_phone]	Daytime phone number of the customer
night_phone	Evening phone number of the customer
mobile_phone	Mobile phone number of the customer
pager	Pager number of the customer

RESULT

If all the arguments are valid, the customer add command adds a new customer to the VTL configuration. When a customer is created, virtual libraries can be added and associated with that customer. If the arguments are invalid or if the command fails, customer add returns a non-zero exit status and relevant error message.
