Setting the Password for a Customer (customer passwd)

SYNOPSIS

customer passwd customer_id

ARGUMENTS

customer_id

ID of customer whose password is to be set

RESULT

A successful customer passwd command sets the customer password to the new password specified by the user. On failure, customer passwd returns a non-zero exit status and relevant error message.

EXAMPLE

The customer passwd command is interactive. It asks for the new password twice to avoid typing errors.

VTL> customer passwd customer_id
Enter the Password:*****
Re-enter the Password:*****
