This chapter describes the commands that you use to configure storage pools for the NearStore VTL appliance. It consists of the following sections:
the section called “Listing Names of Storage Pools (sp list)”
the section called “Discovering a Storage a Pool Name or UUID (sp lookup)”
the section called “Adding a Storage Pool to the Appliance (sp add)”
the section called “Removing a Storage Pool from the Appliance (sp remove)”
the section called “Updating Storage Pool Information (sp update)”
SYNOPSIS
sp list [sp_id]
ARGUMENTS
| sp_id | Name of the storage pool |
RESULT
A successful sp list command displays a list of all the storage pools in the configuration. If an sp_id is specified, the name of that storage pool is shown, if that storage pool is in the configuration. On failure, [sp list] returns a non-zero exit status and relevant error message.
