ARGUMENTS
| name | Name of the virtual library that you want to create. |
| lib_type | Library type that you want to create. |
| vtdt_id | Virtual tape drive type. |
| slots | Slot count of the virtual library. |
| drives | Drive count of the virtual library. |
| transports | Transport count of the virtual library. |
| customer_id | Customer name (if use customer is enabled). |
| sp_id | Storage pool name (if Use Storage Pool is enabled). |
| port_id | Port on which the library will be visible. |
| host_id | Host to which the virtual library access is to be given. |
| vendor_id | Vendor ID if tape drive type is Custom. |
| product_id | Product ID if tape drive type is Custom. |
| auto_move_to_slot | NearStore VTL automatically moves a created or imported virtual tape from the entry port to an available slot. If this is not set, the backup application moves it. |
| enable_cloning | NearStore VTL creates a physical copy of the virtual tape each time that the virtual tape that has been modified is removed from the virtual drive. |
| enable_disk_compression | Enables disk compression for tapes. |
| enable_tape_smart_sizing | Set if you want compression enabled. |
| fully_load_with_vtapes | Set this if you want all slots to be loaded with tapes. |
| start_vtape_name | Name of the start VTV if Fully Load is set. |
| disk_allocation_per_tape | The amount of disk space that NearStore VTL should allocate per virtual tape. |
| auto_assign_first_values | If set, VTL assigns values to the first slot, the first drive, the first mailbox, and the first transport. |
| first_slot | The value for the first slot if auto_assign_first_values is not set. |
| first_drive | The value for the first drive if auto_assign_first_values is not set. |
| first_mailbox | The value for the first mailbox if auto_assign_first_values is not set. |
| first_transport | The value for the first transport if auto_assign_first_values is not set. |
| enable_shadow_tape | If Use Shadow Tape is enabled in Advanced Options, you can enable it at the virtual library level. |
| shadow_tape_retention_time | The value for retention time for deleted VTVs if Use Shadow Pool is enabled. |
RESULT
If all the arguments are valid, the vlib add command creates a new virtual library with user-specified values. If any of the arguments is invalid, vlib add returns a non-zero exit status and relevant error message.
