ARGUMENTS
| vlib_id | Name of the virtual library to be removed. |
| name | Name to be updated. |
| slots | Slot count of virtual library. |
| drives | Drive count of virtual library. |
| auto_move_to_slot | NearStore VTL automatically moves a created or imported virtual tapes from the entry port to an available slot. If this is not set, the backup application moves them. |
| enable_cloning | NearStore VTL creates a physical copy of the virtual tape each time that the virtual tape that has been modified is removed from the virtual drive. |
| enable_disk_compression | Enables disk compression for tapes. |
| enable_shadow_tape | If Use Shadow Tape is enabled in Advanced Options, you can enable it at virtual library level. |
| shadow_tape_retention_time | The value for retention time to be used for deleted VTVs if Enable Shadow Pool is enabled. |
| disk_allocation_per_tape | How much disk space NearStore VTL should allocate per virtual tape. |
| auto_assign_first_values | If set, VTL assigns values to the first slot, the first drive, the first mailbox, and the first transport. |
| first_slot | The value for first slot if auto_assign_first_values is not set. |
| first_drive | The value for first drive if auto_assign_first_values is not set. |
| first_mailbox | The value for first mailbox if auto_assign_first_values is not set. |
| first_mailbox | The value for first transport if auto_assign_first_values is not set. |
| enable_tape_smart_sizing | Set if you want compression enabled. |
| tape_smart_sizing_type | If Tape Smart Sizing is enabled, fill in which type of compression to use. The possible values are: LZS, lzs_c(LZS Conservative), ALDC, ALDC_c(ALDC Conservative), ibm_lto, and none. |
RESULT
If vlib_id is valid, the vlib update command updates the corresponding virtual library information with user-specified values. If vlib_id is invalid or if vlib update fails to update information, the command returns a non-zero exit status and relevant error message.
