Exporting a Volume from a Virtual Library (vlib export)

SYNOPSIS

vlib export vtape_id

ARGUMENTS

vtape_id

Barcode or name of the volume to be exported

RESULT

If vtape_id is valid, the vlib export command creates an export request for that VTV. When a tape is exported, if Shadow Tape Pool is enabled, the tape also is moved to the shadow tape pool. If vtape_id is invalid, vlib export returns a non-zero exit status and relevant error message.
