Removing a Virtual Tape (vtape remove)

SYNOPSIS

vtape remove vlib_id

ARGUMENTS

vlib_id

Name or barcode of the virtual tape to be removed

RESULT

If vlib_id is valid, the vtape remove command deletes the virtual tape from the appliance. When a tape is deleted, all the data in the tape is also deleted. If the vlib_id is invalid, vtape remove returns a non-zero exit status and relevant error message.
