Unloading a Volume from a Virtual Library Drive (vtape unload)
	Chapter 24. Configuring Virtual Tapes

SYNOPSIS

vtape unload vtape_id [slot]

ARGUMENTS

vtape_id	Barcode, name, or UUID of the virtual tape
slot	Slot to which the tape is placed after being unload

RESULT

If the arguments are valid, the vtape unload command unloads the tape volume from the drive to the slot specified in the argument in the corresponding virtual library. If the arguments are invalid or if the unload fails, vtape unload returns a non-zero exit status and relevant error message.
