Requesting the Loading of a Volume (iereq load)
	Chapter 29. Importing or Exporting Requests

SYNOPSIS

iereq load barcode [ptape_id]

ARGUMENTS

barcode	Barcode of the tape to be loaded
ptape_id	Physical tape drive from which the barcode is to be loaded

RESULT

A successful iereq load command loads the tape (barcode) into the recommended tape drive provided that there is a mount request for that tape in the import or export list. If ptape_id is specified, the VTL loads the tape from the physical tape drive corresponding to the ptape_id. On failure, iereq load returns a non-zero exit status and relevant error message.
