This chapter describes the commands that you use to work with shadow tapes for the NearStore VTL appliance. It consists of the following sections:

Listing Shadow Tapes (stape list)

SYNOPSIS

stape list [stape_id] [count][start]

ARGUMENTS

stape_id	Barcode of the virtual tape
count	Number of tapes to be listed out of n tapes
start	First tape in list of count tapes

RESULT

If count or start is invalid, the stape list command returns a non-zero exit status and relevant error message. Otherwise, the output is one line per shadow tape, in the following format: <barcode>.
