This chapter describes the commands that you use to configure Automated Cartridge System Library Software (ACSLS) for the NearStore VTL appliance. It consists of the following sections:

Enabling ACSLS

The options set command has an optional argument, [use_acls], for enabling ACSLS support. Once ACSLS support is enabled, you cannot disable it. The following text explains the results of the command and argument:

[use_acls]= true is rejected if there are SCSI libraries added.
[use_acls]= false is rejected if ACSLS server is configured.
