SnapMirror is an optional feature of Data ONTAP that enables you to copy and access data from specified volumes or qtrees to other volumes or qtrees.
The storage system requires a software license to enable SnapMirror services.
Note: If the source volume and the destination are on different storage systems, you must purchase a license and enter the SnapMirror license code for each storage system.
