SnapValidator for Oracle enables the storage system to validate Oracle data when it is being written to the storage system. Using SnapValidator, the storage system can stop data corruptions caused by the host operating system, network, and other intermediaries from making it onto disk.
SnapValidator requires Data ONTAP 7.0 or above. It is supported for iSCSI, FCP, and NFS protocols. SnapValidator works with all storage system types running Oracle 9iR2 on a supported host configuration.
