Specify the maximum amount of difference allowed between the system's time and the time server's time. If the time difference is greater than the maximum skew value, the system does not synchronize to the time reported by the time server.
Specify the maximum skew in seconds, minutes, or hours. The default maximum skew is 30 minutes.
