Show System Status

The Show System Status page enables you to display information about CPU utilization, file operations, read and write operations on disks and tapes, and the age of data in the cache buffer. By default, the storage system displays statistics every 15 seconds; you can, however, specify the interval, in seconds, at which statistics are displayed.

The output is particularly useful for revealing file access patterns on your storage system, from which you can determine whether you should install more NVRAM, system memory, or disks.
