Using FilerView to manage your storage system |
When you open FilerView, the browser prompts you for the storage system password. This is the password you created during the storage system's initial setup. When you use FilerView, it is recommended that you use an eight-character storage system password.
Even if you did not specify a storage system password during setup, you must press Enter or click OK in the FilerView Password Entry dialog box if you want to use FilerView.
In general, changes you make in FilerView take effect immediately and persist across reboots. Exceptions are noted in the online help files.
