DNS Domain Name

Specify the DNS domain name, which follows the system host name in the fully qualified domain name.

For example, the DNS domain name of a system called toaster.netapp.com is netapp.com.

Cluster considerations

For takeover to occur properly in a cluster, DNS must be enabled on both storage systems and the domain name must be the same on both storage systems.
