Parent Volume

Select the FlexVol that you intend to clone from the drop-down list. Only online FlexVol volumes can be cloned. If a FlexVol on the storage system does not appear in the list, the flexible volume is not online.

Note: Once a FlexClone volume is created, you can take its parent offline. It is only during FlexClone creation that the parent volume must be online.
