cifs mkdir - create a directory for a user
cifs mkdir share user path
This can be used to create a user's home directory. This
command was added since an administrator using a DOS or Windows
machine cannot change the UNIX-style permissions of a
file or directory to give the user proper access to the
directory and cannot make the user the owner of the directory.
It will create a directory with the pathname path,
relative to the root directory of the share share. The
directory created will have user as its owner and user's
primary group as its group owner.
