cifs access - set Share Level ACL
cifs access share [ -g ] user|group rights
cifs access -delete share [ -g ] user|group
The access command is used to control Share Level ACLs. To
add an ACL entry, enter
cifs access share user|group rights
where share is one of the currently defined shares,
user|group is one of the users or groups in /etc/passwd or
/etc/group or is everyone, and rights is a set of UNIX-style
access privileges r for read, w for write, and x for execute.
For example:
cifs access users hawleyr rw
to give the user hawleyr read and write permission for the
share users. This can also be used to replace an existing
access right with a new right.
To remove an ACL entry, enter
cifs access -delete share user|group
By default, cifs access will first try to match user|group
with a user and then with a group. Use the -g option to
force it to match it only with a group, if there is a group
that has a name that is the same as a user's name.
