This window provides the following types of statistics:
The Reload button updates the statistics.
The statistics show the current time, the length of time the filer has been up and running, and the number of NFS, CIFS, and HTTP operations since the last reboot.
The network interface statistics are displayed in the following fields:
If an interface name has an asterisk (*) next to it, the interface is down.
If you see excessive input errors or output errors, check the network connections on both ends of the connection. Bad transceivers or network hubs can sometimes introduce errors into the network.
Collisions are a concern only if the filer detects a substantial percentage of collisions as compared to the total packet throughput. The goal is to keep collisions below 5 percent, but a network can operate properly (but slowly) with collision rates as high as 30 percent.
The disk space statistics show how much disk space is consumed by the active file system and snapshot in each volume. The types of information displayed are described as follows:
For an active file system, this number doesn't include the parity disk, hot spare, snapshot reserve, and about 10 percent of the disk space reserved for efficiency. Therefore, this number is smaller than the total amount of disk space you installed for the volume.
For a snapshot, this number is the same as the amount of disk space reserved for snapshots in that volume.
