This window displays information and error messages that the filer displays on the console and logs in the /etc/messages file. To specify the types of messages that the filer logs, use the Syslog window to edit the /etc/syslog.conf file. This file specifies which types of messages are logged by the syslogd daemon. By default, messages of priority "info" and higher are logged.
Check this window at least once a day to see if there are error conditions that need your attention.
