The display box displays the following information:
| RAID disk | The number of the disk in the Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID). The RAID disk number is assigned to parity and data disks when the file system is initialized and is maintained internally by the filer software. RAID disk 0 is always the parity disk and is labeled "parity" in the display box. RAID disk 1 is the first data disk and is labeled "data 1" in the display box. RAID disk numbers are not assigned to hot spare disks. Hot spare disks are labeled "spare" in the display box. Note: When a disk is added, removed, moved, or reconstructed, RAID disk numbers are reassigned; therefore, RAID disk numbers can correspond to a different physical disk, disk SCSI ID, or disk ID number after you change the disk configuration. |
| DISK_ID# | The number of the disk that is assigned by the filer when probing the disk shelf during a system boot. |
| HA.SCSI# | The disk SCSI address, which is a combination of the number of the SCSI connector and SCSI ID on the filer to which the disk is connected. If seven disks are connected SCSI connector 0, their SCSI addresses are 0.0 through 0.6. |
| Used (MB/blks) | The amount of disk space available to the file system, in megabytes and 512-byte disk blocks. |
| Phys (MB/blks) | The actual size of the disk, in megabytes and 512-byte disk blocks. The disk sizes are rounded off to allow disks of different sizes to be used on the same system. |
| HA# | The number of the SCSI card on the filer in which the disk is connected. |
| SCSI# | The disk SCSI ID. |
| Disk Vital Product Information | Information that is used by disk drive vendors to identify their disk drives. |
