FilerView Guide
Getting started
To use FilerView, you must use Netscape Navigator 3.0 or later
on a UNIX system or a PC. Also,
enter your filer password in the top frame of
FilerView. This password is the same as the one that you specify during filer setup. After typing your password, press the Return key to submit it.
On-line help
On-line help is available for the information and input fields in the Filer Configuration, Filer Status, and Filer Task Assistant windows. It is also available
for Task Assistant dialog boxes.

To view product documentation, click on Documentation in the top frame. These types of documentation are available:
- the FilerView Guide (this document)
- man pages in HTML
Creating bookmarks
You can create a Navigator bookmark for any Status, Filer Configuration, or Task Assistant page, by clicking on the bookmark icon (
). For example, if you want to create a bookmark for the NFS Configuration page, click the bookmark icon on the page. A second Navigator window will appear, displaying the same contents as the original window. In this second window, use Navigator's Add bookmark command to create a bookmark.
