Modify an /etc/exports line
To modify an entry for an exported path, enter the new information in one or more of the following boxes:
- In the Path box, enter the new path name of the directory or file to be exported.
- In the Permissions box, select one of the following permissions:
- rw-to export the path name read-only to all hosts not specified in the list and read-write to the hosts specified in the list.
- ro-to export the pathname read-only.
- In the Anonymous UID box, enter the new anonymous user identification number. 65534 is the default value, which indicates that host has root access. Specifying the value 65535 disables all root access. A value of 0 grants root access to all clients.
- In the Comment box, enter any new comments associated with the new export directory or file, preceded by the pound sign (#).
Click OK to record the new information and close the dialog box.
Click Revert to erase the new entries and revert back to the previous entries.
Click Cancel to close the dialog box without modifying the information.
