Create an /etc/hosts.equiv entry
To add a host to the /etc/hosts.equiv file, enter the appropriate information in the following boxes:
- In the Host name or IP box, enter the name or the IP address of the host to be given rsh permission.
- In the User box, enter the name of the user on the new host to be given rsh permission. - In the Comment box, enter any comments associated with the new host/user, preceded by the pound sign (#).
Click OK to record the information and close the dialog box.
Click Revert to erase the new entries.
Click Cancel to close the dialog box without recording the information.
