System configuration

This window displays filer configuration information. When you report a problem to Network Appliance, be sure to provide the information from this window. The information includes:

Data ONTAP version number
filer identification number
amount of memory on the system board
information about expansion cards, which includes:
- slot number of each expansion card
- Media Access Control (MAC) address, media type, and status of each network interface
- SCSI and Fibre-Channel adapter information
- number of disk and tape drives on each adapter
- size of NVRAM
- slot number of each expansion card

The Reload button displays the current filer configuration information.

Cluster considerations

In partner mode, the display does not show any hardware information.
