Configuring NFS clients if you use /etc/hosts file for name resolution

Procedure

If you use /etc/hosts file for name resolution, add an entry in each host's /etc/hosts file for each of the filer interfaces.

The following example shows how the entries might look for a filer with four interfaces:

255.255.255.145    toaster-e0 toaster
255.255.255.155    toaster-e1
255.255.255.165    toaster-f0
255.255.255.175     toaster-a5

In the first line of the preceding example, the filer host name itself is used as an alias for the first network interface.
