Use this procedure to have the filer convert pre-4.0 directories to Unicode format when accessed from either CIFS or NFS, as opposed to only from CIFS. You perform this procedure to facilitate CIFS file-sharing. After you complete this procedure, pre-4.0 directories are converted to Unicode format even when accessed by NFS.
To convert directories to Unicode format when they are accessed from either CIFS or NFS, complete the following step.
