Configuring NFS clients if you use DNS or NIS for name resolution

Procedure

If you use DNS or NIS for name resolution, add an entry in your DNS or NIS databases for each of the filer interfaces.

The following example shows how the entries might look for a filer with four interfaces:

255.255.255.145    toaster-e0 toaster
255.255.255.155    toaster-e1
255.255.255.165    toaster-f0
255.255.255.175      toaster-a5

In the first line of the preceding example, the filer host name itself is used as an alias for the first network interface.
