This guide contains a worksheet that describes the information you supply in the Setup Wizard to configure the basic filer parameters.
This guide also contains several worksheets that describe the information you must supply when using the setup command. You only use the setup command and its worksheets when you don't have a DHCP server available to provide the filer's IP address. After the IP address is established, you can use the Setup Wizard from a client to continue the filer's configuration.
If you are using a DHCP server to obtain the filer's IP address, fill out the Setup Wizard Configuration Worksheet, in Appendix A, so that you are prepared to provide information when the Setup Wizard prompts for it.
If you are not using a DHCP server (used only with F700 series filers) to obtain the filer's IP address, you need to use a serial console on the filer and the setup command to configure the IP address.
Fill out the Setup Command Configuration Worksheets, in Appendix B, so that you are prepared to provide information when the setup command prompts for it.
