Use this procedure to return to the original default directory conversion behavior. After you complete this procedure, access from CIFS causes conversion of pre-4.0 and 4.0 format directories to Unicode format, but accesses from NFS do not. You can perform this procedure at any time. You use this procedure to save a little space, because pre-4.0 format directories are smaller than Unicode directories.
To return to the original default directory conversion behavior, complete this step.
