To remove a power supply, complete the following steps.

Put on an ESD wrist strap and grounding leash.

Make sure that the power to the disk shelf is off.
3

Make sure that the disk shelf is disconnected from its power sources.
4

Loosen the captive thumbscrews on both sides of the power supply by turning them counterclockwise.

Caution
When removing a power supply, always use two hands to support its weight.
5

Remove the power supply.
