SCSI disk LEDs

The following illustration shows the SCSI disk encased in a device carrier, which has three LED indicators on the front.

Use the following table to interpret the disk LEDs.

LED	Status	Description
On-line	On (Green)	The disk drive is receiving power.
Activity	On (Green)	Normal status. Data transfer is occurring properly.
Activity	Off	No data transfers are taking place.
Fault	On (Amber)	A disk failure has been detected.
Fault	Off	Normal status.
