Verifying your hardware configuration

To determine your filer configuration, firmware, disk type, disk shelf firmware version, and IP addresses, complete the following steps.

Step	Action
1	At the consoles of each filer, enter the following command to determine your filer's hardware configuration: sysconfig -v
2	At the consoles of each filer, enter the following command to determine the filer and disk firmware versions: sysconfig -v
3	At the consoles of each filer, enter the following command to determine the filer's IP address: ifconfig -a
4	Compare the information you gathered from Steps 1 through 3 with the information listed in Hardware required for clustering, then proceed to Verifying your software version.
