About updating your system

After you determine your filer configuration and the software and firmware levels of your hardware, you need to update those items that are out of date. Depending on the number of disk shelves you have or might add, you might also need to add additional FC-AL cards. You also need to add one cluster interconnect adapter card to each filer.
