To connect the F840 to a dual-attached FDDI network, complete the following steps.

Push the SC connector into the lower port (Port A) on the FDDI NIC, until it clicks and locks into place.

Push the SC connector into the upper port (Port B) on the FDDI NIC, until it clicks and locks into place.

The following illustration shows Port A and Port B on the dual-attached FDDI fiber NIC and two duplex FDDI fiber optic cables.
