Replacing a control panel assembly consists of the following procedures:
To remove the control panel assembly, complete the following steps.
| 1 | Open the side cover on the left side of the F85 by following Steps 1 through 11 of the procedure described in Opening the F85. |
| 2 | Disconnect the control panel cable from the PANEL connector near the top of the system board toward the front of the filer chassis.

| 3 | Remove the screw holding the control panel assembly to the front of the filer chassis. |
| 4 | Lift the control panel assembly out of the filer chassis hooks. |
| 5 | Remove the control panel assembly cable from the hole in the filer chassis. |
To install the control panel assembly, complete the following steps.
| 1 | Slide the slots in the control panel assembly over the upper filer chassis hooks. |
| 2 | Slide the control panel assembly down until its bottom edge engages the lower filer chassis hook. |

| 4 | Reconnect the control panel cable to the PANEL connector near the top of the system board toward the front of the filer chassis. |
