About your rack-mounted filer  

If you ordered an F85 system with an SDS12 disk shelf, your system arrives with a rack kit. The rack kit contains the necessary hardware you need to install the F85 in this rack.

If you do not have the appropriate rack, contact your NetApp sales person.

Assembling the installation components  

The rack mounted F85 system arrives with a rack installation kit. The kit contains the following components:

• One pair of slide assemblies with mounting brackets
• One cable manager arm assembly
• Three 10-32 by .25 inch pan-head Phillips screws
• Two 8-32 by .313 inch pan-head Phillips screws
• One 10-32 by .5 inch pan-head Phillips screw

If you ordered additional storage, you also receive a disk shelf mounting kit. See the SCSI DiskShelf12 Hardware Guide for disk shelf installation instructions.
