Internal LEDs
LEDs visible on the disk drives
The following figure and table shows and describes the disk drive LEDs that are visible after you remove the bezel.

Blinking amber
|
The drive failed. The LED blinks amber once every second and the drive online indicator is off.

Off
|
Drive is operating normally.

Drive activity indicator
|
Blinking green
|
LED blinks with disk drive activity.

Off

No disk activity
|
Drive online indicator
|
Green
|
Round icon is lit indicating that the drive has power and is online.

Off
|
Drive is offline or has no power
|
