Types of quota reports
Types of quota reports
You can display these types of quota reports:
- A quota report for all volumes with quotas turned on. It contains the following types of information:
- Default quota information, which is the same information as that in the /etc/quotas file
- Current disk space and number of files owned by a user, group, or qtree that has an explicit quota in the /etc/quotas file
- Current disk space and number of files owned by a user, group, or qtree that is the quota target of a derived quota, if the user, group, or qtree currently uses some disk space
- A quota report for a specified path name. It contains information about all the quotas that apply to the specified path name.
For example, in the quota report for the /vol/cad/specs path name, you can see the quotas to which the disk space used by the /vol/cad/specs path name are charged. If a user quota exists for the owner of the /vol/cad/specs path name and a group quota exists for the /vol/cad volume, both quotas appear in the quota report.
