By default, automatic disk scrubbing is enabled and begins at 1:00 a.m. on Sunday. You might want to disable automatic disk scrubbing if disk scrubbing encounters a recurring problem.
You can also start or stop a disk scrubbing operation manually at times other than 1:00 a.m Sunday.
To enable and disable automatic disk scrubbing for the filer, complete the following step.

You can set the duration of automatic disk scrubbing. The default is to perform automatic disk scrubbing for six hours (360 minutes). If scrubbing does not complete in the six hours, Data ONTAP records where it stops. The next time disk scrubbing automatically starts, scrubbing starts from the point where it stopped.
To set the duration of automatic disk scrubbing, complete the following step.
