This chapter describes how to configure the filer's storage in preparation of creating LUNs and the methods for creating LUNs and initiator groups.

This chapter assumes that the NetApp SAN is set up and configured, and that the FCP or iSCSI service is licensed and enabled. See Managing the FCP service or Managing the FCP service for information about these topics.
