Displaying information about FCP adapters
How to display HBA adapter information
You can display information and manage HBA adapters in a variety of ways, depending on what you are trying to accomplish. For some commands, you can display additional information by using the -v flag, or you can specify which adapter to display information about by entering the adapter number (either the number of the slot it is installed in, or the slot and port number).
If you want to display...
Use this command...
The WWNN (node name) of the target HBA
fcp nodename
Configuration and status information about all adapters (including HBAs, NICs, and switch port information)
sysconfig [-v] [ adapter ]
adapter is a numerical value only, for example, 5.
-v displays additional information about all adapters.
Configuration information about disks, disk loops, and options that affect coredumps and takeover
sysconfig -c
Configuration information about target HBAs
fcp config

fcp show adapter [ -p ] [-v][
adapter&portnumber]
-p displays information about adapters running on behalf of the partner node (filer).
-v displays additional information about target adapters.
adapter&portnumber is the slot number with the port number, a or b; for example, 5a.

adapter&portnumber is the slot number with the port number, a or b; for example, 5a.
Statistics for target HBAs
fcp stats [-z] [adapter&portnumber]
-z zeros the statistics.
adapter&portnumber is the slot number with the port number, a or b; for example, 5a.

FC Portname: 20:01:00:e0:8b:26:39:b7 (200100e08b2639b7)
Connection: PTP, Fabric, Standby
Note In the display, the information about the Dual-channel QLogic HBA, the value 2312, does not specify the model number of the HBA; it refers to the device ID set by QLogic. |
If the adapter is attached to a switch, switch port information is displayed immediately following SRAM parity, as follows:
