Listing Data ONTAP versions supported by a filer
To determine whether your filer supports Data ONTAP 6.4, complete the following steps.

Use a Web browser to go to http://now.netapp.com.

Click Service & Support.
|
|

Click Download Software.
|
|

In the Select Platform list box in the Data ONTAP product row, select your filer type.

Click Go.
Result
You see a list of the versions of Data ONTAP supported by your platform. If Data ONTAP 6.4 is listed as a release for your filer, you can upgrade.
