The disallow or allow state of a vfiler is persistent across reboots. For example, if you disallow NFS for a vfiler and then reboot the filer, NFS remains disallowed for the vfiler after the reboot.
If you disallow CIFS or NFS for a vfiler when the protocol is enabled, rebooting the filer disables the protocol for the vfiler. If you allow the protocol again after a reboot, you must reenable the protocol.
Rebooting the filer causes all stopped vfilers to enter the running state. For example, if you stop a vfiler and then reboot the filer, the vfiler starts running again after the reboot.
